In this fun and creative one-week camp, you’ll dive into the magic of character creation and learn how to dream up your own unforgettable heroes, villains, sidekicks, and misfits. We’ll step into their shoes, see the world through their eyes, and discover what makes them tick. Through games, writing exercises, and story-building fun, you’ll bring colorful, lovable, and wonderfully weird characters to life on the page. Come tell their stories — and maybe even your own! Think about your favorite character in your favorite book - ever wonder why you love them so much? Have you ever thought about creating characters of your very own? What makes a good character? All of these questions and more can be answered at this one-week camp -- The Art of the Character. We will explore the world through their lens and learn about their depth and complexities.
