Beginning Guitar II: June 22-26, 8:30 am-12:30 pm

This class is the next step after Beginning Guitar Level 1. We’ll review what you already know, then build on it with new chords, strumming patterns, and both open and movable scales. You’ll also start learning how to read standard notation using simple melodies. By the end, you’ll apply everything you’ve learned by playing songs, duets, and rhythm parts as a group. Students should have access to a guitar for class and practice. A music stand is optional but helpful.
