Beginning Fly Fishing - Tuesday/Thursday, February 10th, 12th from 4:30-7:30 pm (CMU Tech) and Saturday, February 14 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm (Canyon View Ponds)

This beginner-friendly course introduces the essentials of 
fly-fishing, including gear selection, types of flies, knots, and basic casting techniques. Whether you’re drawn to the sport’s mystique or just want to catch fish, you’ll gain the confidence to get started. Equipment is not required for the first class, but bring a rod and reel if you have them, loaner gear is available. Learn what to buy, why, and how to use it effectively. Students will test their skills at Canyon View Ponds. Parents must provide transportation. February 10 and 12, 4:30-7:30 pm (at CMU Tech); February 14, 10 am-1 pm (at Canyon View Ponds).
