CCW Recertification, November 17, 8:00am-5:00pm

Students will learn updated laws on the state and federal level regarding the use of a concealed carry weapon for everyday carry as well as the responsibility the student accepts for carrying a firearm. Students will be able to understand the expectations from law enforcement in the event of an incident. Students will also be able to demonstrate proper judgement when is appropriate to use a firearm in self-defense, and when other means of defense may be more appropriate. This course has a focus on not just understanding the continued legal requirements of CCW but also demonstrating proper manipulation of the firearm in a defensive situation. This course may not be taken without a current Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit. Please bring firearm, a concealed carry holster, hearing protection, eye protection, and wear clothing appropriate for Colorado weather conditions. All ammo is provided.
