Basic Rifle, October 19, 8:00am-5:00pm

In this course students will learn the fundamentals of shooting a rifle, the different types of rifles, what legally defines a rifle. Students will be able to demonstrate how to safely use, clean, and care for a rifle. This course is good for people who are new to rifle shooting, or need a refresher on how to safely handle a rifle. Completion of a basic handgun course is recommended, but not required. Please bring your firearm, hearing protection, eye protection, ground pad, hat, and wear clothing appropriate for Colorado weather conditions. All ammo is provided.
