Chef Camp: Southern Cooking, June 17 - 21, 1pm-5pm

From Virginia to Texas, there is a whole range of southern cooking. In the South, food is a celebration, a memory and history. The state of Louisiana is known for its cajun, creole and barbeques including spicy flavor filled grits topped with crawfish or shrimp; gumbo; etouffee; jambalaya; and muffaletta sandwiches. The South is known for its desserts like beignets, pralines, bread puddings and banana fosters. In this class, you will taste it all! Note: Students who attend cannot have a seafood allergy.
