Summer Camps
As a kid, my favorite day of the week was Sunday. We would all sit down at the table and share stories of the week. Of course a meal was involved, we would have fried chicken, garden vegetables, mashed potatoes, potato salad, homemade rolls, sweet tea, and finish with fruit crisps or pie. Students, this week we hit the south. From my Sunday to yours, we will learn how to cut up a chicken and fry it as my mom and grandma taught me. We will also make delicious mac and cheese, potato salad, deviled eggs, and casseroles. We will bake too: steaming fresh rolls and cherry crisp with homemade ice cream. This, then, can be your new Sunday
