Each trip will have mandatory pre-trip meetings and events during the spring semester to orient and educate the trips participants about the issues that will be encountered during the Alternative Break trip. Panther Breakaway participants have an obligation to the community they will be traveling to and must be prepared mentally, physically and emotionally. Site Leaders planning each trip will notify participants of meetings and events as well as a pre-service project to be held during the fall and spring semesters.
The cost per participant is $250 for spring trips. The trips can be paid for in full or by installments. The trip payment pays for transportation. All lodging, meals, snacks, fun day activities and the closing dinner are covered by your student fees. Please be advised: Participants are required to pay a $50 deposit to secure their space for their selected trip.
January 9, 2023: $50 deposit due (mandatory to reserve your spot) February 3, 2023: $100 due for Spring 2023 trip (1st payment) March 3, 2023: $100 due for Spring 2023 trip (2nd payment)
