Students will explore the consequences of competition for oil and gas supplies, changes in energy supply and demand, energy security and vulnerabilities to supply disruptions, and the environmental and climate implications of energy policy. The topics are foundational for consultants, advisors, decision makers and other mid-career professionals seeking to understand how public and private energy and infrastructure investments and government policy decisions affect national security, economies and the health of the planet.

The course will help attendees claim a 21st Century competitive edge in business, education and government professions. Join course instructor Paul Michael Whibey, an international energy advisor to governments and business and a panel of energy and political affairs experts in a Washington D.C. day of learning, dialogue and networking.
