The 2026 Accounting Horizons Conference will be hosted by the Costello College of Business at George Mason University (George Mason) on May 21–22, 2026 at Mason Square in Arlington, Virginia. This conference will address pressing issues and problems facing the accounting profession and facilitate dialogue between academics and non-academics. The program will include panel discussions and research presentations, bringing together a diverse group of participants from academia, the preparer community, public accounting firms, standard setters, and regulators. We welcome participation by faculty members, professionals, and accounting students. The registration fee ($300 before April 21 and $325 after 8 am on April 21) will cover lunch and reception on Thursday, May 21, and breakfast and lunch on Friday, May 22. George Mason’s award-winning RobotiXX Lab will give a demonstration of robots and off-road testbed to kick off Thursday’s reception. *In the registration process, you will be asked for an email address twice. The first time will populate the conference participant list. The second time is the address to which the confirmation email should be sent.* Consent to Use of Photographic Images Registration and attendance at, or participation in, an AAA-sponsored event constitutes an agreement by the registrant to AAA’s use and distribution of the registrant or attendee’s image in marketing and promotional pieces, written publications, and the association’s website for an indefinite period of time.
