The full-time Associate of Applied Science Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant prepares individuals for careers as Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs). Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to perform treatment interventions such as: manual therapy, motor relearning and supervised custom designed exercise programs to address movement impairments, chronic pain, and movement education for lifelong health and wellness. Successful completion of this program allows graduates to take the Licensure Examination administrated by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
