2020 Kilted Mile

2020 Kilted Mile

The Kilted Mile is an Edinboro University tradition that originated as part of the first Highland Games and Scottish Festival in 1993. The Kilted Mile – in all its tartan glory – keeps the tradition alive at Homecoming 2020. In true 2020 style the Kilted Mile like the rest of Homecoming 2020 will be virtual – Homecoming from Home! While the Kilted Mile course* (Darrow road to Meadville street, ending at the crosswalk between Flip and the Hotel) will be set up from Wednesday September 30th to Sunday October 4th for racers you are also welcome to run your mile ANYWHERE! From weekend warriors to casual runners or walkers to families and kids of all ages, everyone is welcome to participate.  Information about submitting your time will be sent with your conformation e-mail after registration.

You must submit a time to be sent your prize. No refunds will be given to racer who decides not to race after signing up.

*The Kilted Mile course will be set up but the roads will not be closed. Racers need to follow all rules of the road and are encouraged to use the sidewalks when possible.

All proceeds benefit the Edinboro University Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field programs.

Big THANK YOU to our sponsors!
