2019 Kilted Mile

The Kilted Mile is an Edinboro University tradition that originated as part of the ﬁrst Highland Games and Scottish Festival in 1993. The Kilted Mile – in all its tartan glory – keeps the tradition alive at Homecoming 2018. From weekend warriors to casual runners to families and kids of all ages, everyone is welcome to participate. The race is a one-mile run along the Homecoming parade route that takes place before the start of the parade.
Cost: $10 for EU students, alumni and youth (age 18 and under) $15 for non-EU students
Pre-register by September 29, 2019, to receive a T-shirt*
Award ceremony will be held immediately following the race. $50 cash prize for ﬁrst place male and female in both the open and wheelchair divisions (bonus gift if wearing a kilt). Scottish Pride trophy for best dressed.
Early Registration Fees (includes t-shirt):
Youth - $10.00
EUP - $10.00
Non-EUP - $15.00
EUP – Wheelchair Division $10.00
Non-EUP Wheelchair Division $15.00
Late registration begins September 30th and each registration will cost $15.00 and will not include a t-shirt. The last day to register online is October 9th. However, you may register in person the morning of the event.
9:30am – Check-in begins at the corner of Perry and Darrow Roads, Edinboro, PA (GPS: 41.867104, -80.115950).
10:30am – Race begins.
