WRS Group Mastery Practicum Aug '26

This practicum requires successful delivery of a minimum of 50 lessons with an approved group of three to four students reaching WRS Substep 3.1 or higher, and submission of at least three video recorded lessons for observation and feedback. Participants are eligible to receive up to 90 PA Act 48 hours upon successful completion. Individuals have 15 months from the date of enrollment to complete all coursework.

Before participating, individuals must have their WRS Level I Certification, and enroll in the practicum within 3 years of completing the WRS Advanced Strategies for MSL Group Instruction Course. They must also possess a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.

There will be a virtual startup session on August 31, 2026 starting at 4:00pm EST. The session will be recorded for those unable to attend. The link for the startup session will be emailed at a later date.

Materials
Materials are not included. All materials can be purchased directly from Wilson Language Training^®. The WRS Introductory Set (Step 1-6), 4th Edition is a requirement to bring to class. If teaching in a group setting, each student will need their own set of Student Readers, a Student Portfolio, Magnetic Journal with Letter Tiles, and an End-of-Step Assessment. 

Note: WRS Introductory Course Manual will be mailed free of charge to each participant located within the United States; additional fees for international mailings will be added to the registration cost. Please reach out prior to registering if applicable. If registration occurs less than 7 days in advance of the training, materials are not guaranteed to arrive prior to the training, but are available in digital format.

The primary method of payment for Wilson Language Training (WLT) programs is via credit card through this website by adding to your cart.

Please contact Associate Director of Finance, Katie O'Brien, at kmo54@drexel.edu prior to registering online with a copy of the Purchase Order. Note: Materials cannot be included in the PO and must be purchased directly by payee.

Terms & Conditions
Except as otherwise stated, payment shall be Net 45 days from the date of the start of the Service, or date of receipt of correct invoice, whichever is later.

Please note: Drexel University is the vendor name that will be on the Purchase Order, NOT Wilson Language Training.
