WRS Level I Certification with Web-Based Practicum Feb '25

The Wilson Reading System^® (WRS) Level I Certification is recognized as an IDA Accreditation^Plus program. It is designed to prepare teachers to effectively implement WRS Steps 1–6 with students who are reading and spelling below grade level, as well as those diagnosed with a language-based learning disability, such as dyslexia. Before participating, individuals must have completed the WRS Introductory Course within the last five years. They must also possess a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.

Start Date: February 1, 2025 (virtual startup day to be held February 3rd at 7:00pm EST)

Price:
$2,850

*Individuals have 12 months from the date of enrollment to complete the online course and practicum. If site-based within a school or district, participants are encouraged to complete certification within the school year.

Materials:

• WRS Introductory Set (Steps1-6), 4th edition, containing instructor and student materials (required)
  • if not already purchased when you completed the WRS Introductory Course
• External camera
• Note: Materials must be purchased directly by payee.

Payment Options:
The primary method of payment for Wilson Language Training (WLT) programs is via credit card through this website by adding to your cart.

Please contact Associate Director of Finance, Katie O'Brien, at kmo54@drexel.edu prior to registering online with a copy of the Purchase Order. Note: Materials cannot be included in the PO and must be purchased directly by payee. 

Terms & Conditions
Except as otherwise stated, payment shall be Net 45 days from the date of the start of the Service, or date of receipt of correct invoice, whichever is later.
 

Please note: Drexel University is the vendor name that will be on the Purchase Order, NOT Wilson Language Training.
