Spring Jr. Beekeeper Workshop April 29, 2023

The Spring Jr. Beekeeper Workshop is presented by the Chattahoochee Valley Beekeeping Association, hosted by Oxbow Meadows, is holding a one day bee workshop for children aged 6-13.

9:00am-12:00pm

How much:
Cost is $35 per child (ages 6-13)

You must have a parent/guardian present during the workshop. Waivers are required for all participants to turn in the day of the event.

Experienced CVBA beekeepers will teach and oversee the program. Jr. Beekeepers will watch a video, have the opportunity to look at beekeeping equipment, participants in hands-on activity, inspect the beehives, and help extract honey.

It is suggested to bring a water bottle as some of the workshop will be outside in the sun. All participants will be in the beeyard and in contact with live honey bees.
