This drawing of iconic Randolph Hall at the College of Charleston by award-winning artist Jane Jackson was commissioned in honor of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the College in 1770. The original structure of Randolph Hall was designed by architect William Strickland and completed in 1828. Architect E.B. White added the wings, portico, and curved staircases in 1850. It is named for Harrison Randolph, the 13th President of the College, who served from 1897-1945. Mrs. Jackson is a proud parent and grandparent of graduates of the College and resides in Florence, SC.
