EMT Training

The 200 hour Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program is the initial pre-hospital certification in South Carolina. This program prepares the candidate to provide basic emergency medical care to victims of trauma and illness. This course follows and exceeds the 2009 US Department of Transportation (DOT) / National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) EMT National Standard Curriculum. The course includes:

  • DOT/NHTSA EMT-Basic National Standard
  • Curriculum
  • Advanced Airway Module
  • CPR Course (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers)
  • SC Enrichment Modules
  • Infection Control
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Weapons of Mass Destruction
  • National Incident Command System

PLEASE NOTE: This registration fee does NOT include any text books or testing fees. Students are responsible for all placement testing, National Registry testing fees and textbook costs.
