Alpha Kappa Delta Membership Dues

Congratulations on your invitation to join Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD), the International Sociology Honor Society! Your outstanding record at the College of Charleston makes you eligible for membership. This honor is a formal acknowledgment of your exceptional performance in the classroom and it will make an important addition to your resume. The Sociology faculty wishes to congratulate you on this outstanding achievement, and we urge you to accept this invitation. Membership in AKD is for a lifetime. There is a one-time membership fee of $50.00.  For those of you applying for employment with the federal government, membership in AKD serves as evidence of “superior academic achievement” and entitles you to a two-grade advancement.
