Cougar Excursion (CE) will be held on Wednesday, August 15th - Friday, August 17th, with campus move-in on Tuesday, August 14th. It will be held at Seabrook Island's Camp St. Christopher.

The program is only offered to incoming first-year students. It is an interactive leadership development program specifically designed to gain knowledge and create a sense of community that is pertinent to a successful first-year student at the College.

The cost is $250 for conference site lodging, activity fees, transportation and meals. Note: By participating in this program, students who will be living on campus are agreeing to pay any early move in fee. This fee will be assessed to your student account if you have a housing assignment, regardless of if you move in during the programs scheduled time, or stay off campus with family. Registration is limited. Scholarships are available, but limited! Please contact Bret Koch ( for scholarship information. Payment can be made by credit card or by check. Make your check out to College of Charleston. Mail to CofC, attn: Higdon Student Leadership Center, 66 George St., Chas, SC, 29424. If paying by check, reservation is not guaranteed until check has been received and you have received a confirmation email from us.
