Clayton State University Health Services (UHS) offers CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to provide individuals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Classes are four hours and the fee is $50.
Classes are open to students, staff, faculty and the community although priority registration is for nursing and dental hygiene students and professionals.
