Toni Morrison, winner of both the Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize in Literature, wrote, “I didn’t fall in love, I rose in it.” Like faith and hope, love is not just a trait; it is a craft we must learn. Love that builds up must be built up. Godly love requires divine definition and divine accountability. The third basic service to be restored is divine love. The most important, and defining order of business for faith leaders is to empower the church to rise into love.
