Omar Palafox, “The Church Victorious Amidst Struggle”

The current state of the church today is not the first time it has been this way. The church is at a juncture where it is desolate and appears immolated—and Revelation 5 gives us a glimpse of the slain Lamb as the only one able to break the seals of the heavenly scroll. Revelation shows us that worship, prayer, and multicultural community are signs of the victorious church, just as much today as in the first century.
