Responding as pastoral caregivers to crisis events is the root of true leadership. When we enter the fray of messiness with others, we emulate God’s loving presence, offering hope and care. This session will discuss ways to be effective listeners to those who are hurting, and to avoid unhelpful phrases that try to fix the unfixable.
