Sally Gary -- Responding to Those Impacted by Same-Sex Attraction: What Do Families Need from Me?

A better understanding of same-sex attraction is critical to helping families who are in the midst of this struggle. In this session, Sally will share her own family’s journey and answer questions that many Christians ask about same-sex attraction. This session will also offer church leaders practical suggestions on to how to respond to a parent whose son or daughter has just revealed that he or she is gay.expressing love to the people who live next-door is a challenge for most Christians. This session addresses this challenge through the personal experience of a missionary couple. In a city where less than 10% of the population attends church, they have built meaningful community with over 200 of their closest neighbors. Participants will explore practical steps for helping their church members do the same in their neighborhoods.
