Carson Reed & Panel -- Models of Governance: How Do Elders and Ministers Work Together for the Sake of God's Mission

One of the most challenging aspects of congregational leadership is negotiating the working relationship between elders and ministry staff. How does work get done? How are decisions made and by whom? These questions and more can hamper a church’s ministry and mission, create conflict and misunderstanding, and foster inefficiency. This keynote panel will offer several models for healthy governance from various elder-minister teams. Although these models vary from each other, they share a common commitment to biblical values. This keynote session will offer a significant opportunity for leaders to hear about healthy models that might inform their own governance practices.
