Planning for the future of your farm or ranch is one of the most important—and often most challenging—conversations a family can have. Whether you’re just beginning to think about what’s next, preparing to pass the operation to the next generation or looking for a successor, having a plan makes all the difference.
Oklahoma State University Extension’s Farm Transition Workshops are full-day events designed to provide farm and ranch families with practical information, expert guidance and planning tools to help navigate the transition of an operation to the next generation.
​Registration includes a copy of the Farm Transition Workbook for each participant, meals and breaks, and continued support throughout the project. Registration fees are set to encourage families to bring multiple members and multiple generations.
​Deadline for registration is Wednesday, October 14. Cost will then increase to $100.00.
​If cost of attending the workshop is a concern, contact your county Cooperative Extension office, as financial assistance for registration may be available.
