Cowboy Meat Judging Camp


2 ½ day Camp: $350/student, students must be 6th grade or older 
  • Includes on campus housing and meals provided
  • June 1-3: 2 days of instruction, the third ½ day consists of a camp contest 
  • Topics include (but not limited to): Carcass and cut evaluation, grading, questions, reasons, and retail ID
  • Camp book and t-shirt provided


1 ½ day Camp: $100/student, open to students 3rd grade and older
  • Does not include housing, but a lunch and dinner will be provided
  • June 2-3: 1 day of instruction, the second ½ day consists of a camp contest
  • Topics include: Carcass and cut evaluation, grading, retail ID
  • Camp book and t-shirt provided


½ day Coaches Clinic: $50/attendee
  • June 3: Instruction to take place during the camp contest
  • Open to parents, group leaders, volunteers, advisors, educators, etc. 
  • Provide resources for team leaders to start or improve team practices
  • Interactive workshop consisting of camp product
  • Camp book and t-shirt provided


Dorm Volunteer Chaperones: Free
  • June 1-3
  • All camp content, resources and meals provided
  • Camp book and t-shirt provided


Registration closes May 18th, 2026
Camp will take place at the Robert M. Kerr Food and Agricultural Products Center and Animal Science building on the Oklahoma State University campus.
