Building Students’ Multiplicative Thinking. Grades 3‐5. June 11th (9:00 – 3:30 pm).
Participants will learn how to help students build their multiplicative understanding through
games and activities that can be done in the classroom. Strategies to help students build
fluency with multiplication will also be taught. Participants can expect to leave with materials
for games and activities to help them as they teach their students. (Connections to: 3.N.2.1,
3.N.2.2, 3.N.2.8, 4.N.2.1, 4.N.2.2, 5.N.2.4)
*A minimum of 15 registrants required for each session. You will be notified if this session does
not make. The session will take place at Willard Hall on the Stillwater campus. You will be
notified a week prior with additional details regarding parking and logistics.
