Taos in Color – Exploring the New Mexico Landscape through Watercolor

Class held September 19-21, 2024 in Taos, NM. - Instructor: Sara Schneckloth - Explore Taos through color, with flora and architecture as your guides. Using watercolor, earth pigments, and basic drawing meterials, we will observe and translate seasonal golds, greens, and lavenders into color studies and more developed images. Immerse yourself in the warm ochres, vibrant pinks, and cool blues unique to New Mexican architecture, as we celebrate the aesthetic of Taos in autumn. No previous drawing or watercolor experience required.
