Young Adult Literature Summit 2026 - ONLINE

Sponsored by Oklahoma State University and Aquinas College and facilitated by members of NCTE’s ELATE Commission on the Study and Teaching of Adolescent Literature, we are pleased to open registration for this year’s ONLINE Summit: Thursday evening, February 26, 2026  and all day Friday, February 27, 2026.

In this 8th Summit on the Research and Teaching of Young Adult Literature, we celebrate the growing, evolving, and becoming of our research and practices. 
This full day, virtual conference focuses on conversations among researchers, teachers, librarians, and authors in the areas of the research and teaching of young adult literature. Attend ONLINE the Thursday evening special event followed by a full day of presentations on Friday: two plenary sessions and five breakout presentations from among over 20 options. 

Be part of conversations focused on trends in research and pedagogy in the field.

*Registration Rate (through Feb. 26): $30

* Registration rates for the conference include Thursday evening keynote with social hour and Friday sessions, which include two plenary sessions and selected break out sessions.Your registration fee will be added to the Summit fund held at Oklahoma State University’s School of Teaching, Learning, and Educational Sciences used to support guest speaker honoraria and technology support.

Refunds: Due to the low registration cost, there will be no refunds offered.

Professional Development Credit: Check with your school or district to see if participation in the Summit will count toward your recertification. OSU’s School of Teaching, Learning, and Educational Sciences provides a certificate of participation, and digital badges will be available.
