• Paddling Course Description: The course emphasizes paddling skills and techniques in both inflatable rafts and Inflatable Rescue Boats (IRBs), with a particular focus on scenarios in which motors are out of service, damaged, disabled, or tactically unavailable. Students will develop the ability to maneuver effectively in moving water using coordinated paddle commands, crew synchronization, ferry angles, eddy entry/exit techniques, peel-outs, and defensive boat positioning.
