Songwriting is extremely personal, and different for everybody. The one thing we all have in common as songwriters is the ability to improve. In this workshop, we’ll start songs from scratch and look at previous songs to see how we can shape them into something even better. Learn tips and tricks for getting out of writer’s block phases and connect with others. Let’s improve together!

This three week workshop will be in person on the OSU-Tulsa campus on Tuesdays from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on February 21st, February 28th, and March 7th.

Instructor: Kat Lock

Instructor Bio: Kat Lock has been writing songs ever since she was able to talk, initially as a party trick for friends and family. Now, with multiple albums and songs on every streaming platform you can think of, maybe she knows what she’s talking about.

Registration will close at noon on Monday, February 20, 2023.
