Dance Team Recruitment - 2025

Open to 8th graders and up.

Date: October 10 & 11
Time: October 10: 4-7pm (optional attendance of a WSDT practice) & October 11: 8-8:30am check in, 8:30-9 campus tour, 9-1pm intensive, 1:30-4 solo showcase, 5-5:30 tailgate (north side of the stadium), 5:45 pregame (all dancers perform fight song on the field with WSDT), 6-9 game (ticket will be sent out the week of the game), pictures on the field following the conclusion of the game.
Location: Swenson Gym 
Cost: $150
Solo Showcase: $50 (additional) 
- During solo showcase each dancer will perform a 1 minute solo that highlights their strengths in both style and technique. The dancer will receive direct feedback from Head Coach Erica Williams Jordan. Each dancer will be expected to bring their own music and have it ready to be plugged into the sound system. Parents, family and friends are invited to watch the solo showcase. 

Join Weber State Dance Team Head Coach Erica Williams Jordan and the Weber State Dance Team for an unforgettable Wildcat Weekend! This recruitment weekend is designed to prepare those who may have a desire to audition for and become part of the five-time National Champion and World Champion Weber State Dance Team.

Train under the direction of Weber State's nationally recognized dancers. You will receive quality instruction in all aspects of dance including technique, jazz,  hip hop, and pom. Find out first hand what it takes to become a Weber State Dancer and learn how to prepare to succeed at the college level.

Weber recruits will work on ways to improve technique and become more proficient in the dance styles that the Weber State Dance Team focuses on throughout the year.
