Monday Night Climbs - 4/29/24 (WSU Only)

5:30-sunset! WSU students, faculty and staff only for this week's event. The WSU Outdoor Program is going climbing Monday nights this Fall at the 9th st. Climbing Crag and we invite you to join us! Our knowledgeable staff will be there every Monday with top ropes already set up, for your use. Our staff members are happy to provide basic top-rope climbing instruction at no cost. This is a great introductory outing if you've never climbed before, looking to transition from the climbing gym to the outdoor crag, or if you are just interested in connecting with other climbers. Please arrive on time to maximize your potential for climbing.

General Trip Information

No alcohol, drugs, or other substances are permitted on trips.
Participants must abide by the WSU Student Code of Conduct
For overnight trips - attendance at the pre-trip meeting (usually the Tuesday before the trip) is mandatory. Single day trips will likely not have a pre-trip meeting. You will be notified if there is a meeting for a single day trip.
Ask any questions you might have about your ability to participate in trip activities before you register. While many of our trips are geared towards beginners, it is up to you to estimate your physical abilities in advance. Call the OP with questions: 801.626.6373
Trip sign-up is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Full payment is due at the time of registration.

Refund Information

I understand that by registering for a trip, I am committed to attend.
If the trip is canceled by the WSU Outdoor Program, I will receive a 100% refund.
I understand that if I cancel my registration within 7 days of the scheduled program, I will not receive a refund.
If I cancel my registration anytime prior the aforementioned 7 day refund deadline, I will receive a 50% refund of the registration cost.
(For overnight trips) Attendance at the pre-trip meeting is mandatory. Those who do not attend may not be able to attend the trip and may not be given a refund.
