WSU Piano Festival 2024

Student Eligibility
The festival is open to all students Grades 1-12. First place winners from previous years must compete at a higher level. Past first place winners in the Grade 10-12 divisions are not eligible to compete.

Performance Requirements
Applicants must perform their pieces from memory, except for the Duet Division. Concerto movements may be unaccompanied. Original scores must be given to the judges. Students may compete in as many as two (2) divisions, but must use different repertoire.

2:30pm	Festival Honors Recital - BC Room 136

Honors Recital
The Honors Recital will be held Saturday, March 16th at 2:30 p.m. in the Garrison Choral Room (BC 136). The winners of the festival will be announced at the Recital, and first-place winners will perform following the announcement. Participants must be present at the Honors Recital in order to receive an award. If your child or student will not be available to play in the recital, they will not be considered for an award at the time of adjudication. Please be sure to indicate the performer's availability on the registration form.

Festival competition times will be drawn at random. Special time requests will not be considered.

$25 per division (no refunds)
