Step One: CLEP Registration

You must register for your exam and pay the $95.00 fee on the CLEP website before paying the proctoring fee/scheduling your exam. Go to the CLEP Website to create a CLEP account and purchase the exam you wish to take. After purchasing the exam, you will receive a registration ticket with a Ticket ID. You will be asked to provide the Ticket ID during Step Two. 

Step Two: WSU Proctoring Fee

Please review Step Three and the Information Waiver, then pay the $30.00 WSU Proctoring Fee (non-refundable/non-transferable) by clicking "Add to Cart" down below and completing the payment process. Please ensure your email has been entered correctly, as you will need your payment confirmation email to schedule and check-in on test day! 

Step Three: Schedule an Appointment

Appointments are now available at both the Ogden and Davis campus! Once you pay the WSU Proctoring Fee, you will receive a a payment confirmation email/receipt with a link to schedule your CLEP appointment. Appointments must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance and may fill before that deadline.

Information Waiver:

• I have determined my eligibility through my university Admissions Office and the appropriate Academic Departments.
• I have no grades or notations on my transcript, which apply to the CLEP test I am registering for.
• I understand that at the end of the CLEP test I will be given the option of cancelling or reporting my scores. If I choose to cancel my test, it will not be scored, and I will not receive a refund. There is a six month waiting period between attempts.
• I have verified that the CLEP test I am taking is accepted by the university to which I am sending the score.
• Military Candidates: I understand the WSU is not a fully funded CLEP testing center, and all Military Candidates will need to pay the WSU proctoring fee. 
• I have paid all applicable fees.
• WSU Students: I understand that as of Fall 2018, the WSU Department of World Languages does not accept Foreign Language CLEP credits. 
• WSU Students: I have verified that the test I am taking is accepted by WSU.
• WSU Students: I understand that I must complete an Application for Test Credit form and pay a fee to the Admissions Office to have my scores applied to my record.
