First Aid & CPR/AED Class

This course covers how to respond to breathing emergencies, identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden illness and injuries, and techniques for preventing disease transmission. This course also covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) use.

This course provides participants with the most up-to-date First Aid, CPR and AED training specifically focused on medical emergencies in the workplace. Participants learn life-saving skills including treatment for shock, bleeding and wounds, burns, medical emergencies and more. Upon completion, students receive First Aid Certification and a CPR & AED Certification valid for two years. This is a two-part class – 4 hours for First Aid, 4 hours for CPR/AED. There is a $25 fee for this combined class. If you select the "WSU Department Payment" option, the cost code you enter will be charged for the cost of the class.

Please wear comfortable clothes as you will be practicing CPR on the floor.
