Plaquettes seem to be on every climber's harness these days--the ATC-Guide and the Reverso are everywhere. But do you really know how to use this versatile tool? Do you know what to do if you need to lower your climber mid-pitch? What if you're belaying two climbers and one of them gets hurt? Do you know how to turn your plaquette into an ascender? In this clinic you will learn the answers to these questions as well as the many ways to use your plaquette safely while climbing with one or two partners.

Necessary Equipment:
• Harness, plaquette with 2 locking carabiners, Cordelette, Small prussik loop, 4-foot sling, 3 or 4 free locking carabiners, Helmet (depending on venue)
