Rudram Dance Company is a premiere Indian Classical Dance company here in Tampa . We teach , choreograph and tour performing at many prestigious dance and Musical festivals throughout the US. We also bring many reputable professional dancers from India and other countries to conduct workshops to our students and also arrange their performances . We have received Grants and recognition from South Arts , SFSC , Florida Division of culture and Hillsborough Arts Council. We celebrate " Utsav " - a festival of Folk dances from India . Different forms of dances originated in different parts of India, developed according to the local traditions .This was to celebrate childbirth , New season, weddings and other social occasions. These dances are Vibrant and colorful !
