The Tampa Bay Clean Cities Coalition is a membership based organization created to coordinate and promote the use of non-traditional and cleaner energy for transportation in the Tampa Bay Region. The effort was launched in the summer of 2012 with financial and in-kind support from the Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County, TECO Energy, the USF Patel School of Global Sustainability, and the USF Center for Urban Transportation Research. Tampa Bay Clean Cities will work in concert with, and support the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Vehicle Technology Program - Clean Cities.
