Foreign Language Placement Test

The foreign language placement exam is a computerized, proficiency-oriented exam designed to place students into the most appropriate course level for the language they have studied.

It usually takes about 10-45 minutes to complete. The exam's format consists of multiple choice questions with best choice answers; its content covers grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.

The fee for this service is $25.00 and can be paid by debit or credit card.

Read Placement Instructions carefully:
1. You may repeat the placement exam every six (6) months.
2. The score of your placement test will be saved in the records database available to the World Language Department.
3. Please select the language you wish to take from the drop-down box on the next screen.
4. Fill in your personal and credit card information.
5. Your test results will be available in 1 to 2 business days.

Please bring a photo ID to pick up your results in CPR 419.
