Enterprise Change in Delivery to Campus
Effective October 1, 2022, Texas A&M University-Commerce employees will no longer be able to schedule rental car deliveries to the campus. Enterprise has been providing this complimentary service for many years and it is unfortunately coming to an end. We encourage all car rentals be reserved through Concur, or by contacting the car rental supplier directly. Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, and Budget are all options on the State of Texas contracts list available in Concur. All rentals will need to be picked up at the location you select when ordering through Concur. In extremely rare circumstances, delivery may be discussed as an option with Enterprise Greenville directly at an additional cost to the department. Another option is for individuals to work with the Transportation Office to arrange pick up of the rental vehicle, if they choose to do so.
When placing Enterprise rentals through Concur be sure to add your Enterprise loyalty account to your Concur profile, all points accrued for work related rentals can be redeemed for personal rentals. The reason we are asking you to utilize Concur is our state contract rates are automatically applied and it is guaranteed for insurance coverage. If you book outside of Concur it is required that you accept the insurance and do not waive it. The Marketplace store is no longer required or available for Enterprise rentals.
If an employee chooses to use their personal vehicle, mileage reimbursement should be discussed with the department head prior to travel since this could be more costly for the department. In the event an accident occurs, while using a personal vehicle, the personal insurance will be affected, not the University’s. The Enterprise location in Greenville no longer has vans available. Vans are available through the Enterprise location in Plano, and may be available through other vendors or locations in the Metroplex. However, for van size rentals, please reach out to our Transportation Office at 903-468-3093 for their assistance with your trip. Today September 20, 2022, we are offering Concur Training in BA345 at 2pm. However, if you are unavailable to attend, we will also host a zoom meeting on September 21, 2022, from 10:00-10:30 AM. If you have recently made a reservation, University personnel will reach out to discuss your specific situation.
