Robin Sullivan started her career at East Texas A&M University in 1974. During her service to the Univeristy she worked for several academic departments before she found a home at Campus Recreation in 1984.

During her time at Campus Recreation, Robin had the opportunity to work with hundreds of staff members and thousands of students. One of her greatest joys was her nickname “MAMA SHARK”. She took great pride in providing a family atmosphere at Campus Recreation and was literally a mom and mentor to many students and new staff members. It was not unusual to see students and staff clustered around Robin’s desk talking about anything and everything!

Robin embodied the spirit of the student, a commitment to service, and a tradition of great customer service! Nothing more excited Robin than Campus Recreation Special Events. Whether it was Reverse Trick or Treat, Fright Fest, or Salsa Night; Robin was always asked to take a memorable picture with students and staff. Most important she taught people how to have fun at these events. She enjoyed dressing up and connecting with students and staff by putting a smile on their face. Robin was the face of Pop Culture Trivia! She had a unique talent of bonding with her faculty/staff colleagues. She always loved visiting all the participants at their various offices while asking various trivia questions. The result was always laughter, a smiling face, and camaraderie. If one could place a photo of someone next to the phrase customer service, it would have to be Robin Sullivan. Robin was always in the moment with every customer that she came in contact with. Her actions spoke volumes when handling costumers with dignity, a smile, and a kind word. Her actions defined customer service for her Campus Recreation family.
