As we celebrate the 85th anniversary of North Carolina Central University School of Law, we are excited to extend an invitation to you or your organization to become a sponsor of our premier anniversary golf tournament, one of the many ways we are gathering to commemorate this historic milestone.

Our law school, as one of the six historically black law schools remaining in the country, is the second oldest HBCU Law School, second to Howard Law. Since its inception in 1939, NCCU School of Law has been a beacon of legal excellence, playing a pivotal role in shaping generations of lawyers, judges, policymakers, and legal scholars. These leaders have gone on to make signifi cant contributions to society.

To commemorate our establishment through House Bill 18, enacted on March 1, 1939, we are organizing a special celebration. This event aims to bring together alumni, faculty, students, and supporters to reflect on the achievements and contributions of NCCU School of Law over the years. As we mark the 85th anniversary milestone, we are seeking sponsors whose support will enable us to showcase the illustrious history of our institution.
