Nonverbal Communications in a Forensic Setting

Nonverbal Communications in a Forensic Setting
This workshop focuses on the forensic use of nonverbals in interviewing, due diligence, depositions, and security related interviews. The training is the same that Joe Navarro has taught for both the FBI and other members of the intelligence community. The training will focus on understanding how the brain regulates behavior, how we assess others, and what the body reveals when it comes to thoughts, feelings, intentions and fears. Emphasis will be placed on the latest model for detecting issues, concealed information, or possible leads, as well as deception. Joe will also highlight what science reveals to us about nonverbals and how we can use that knowledge to assess, communicate, and conduct effective, ethical interviewing. This workshop is informative, practical, and immediately useful to both the student and the professional practitioner whether in the field of medicine, psychology, law enforcement or national security / counter-terrorism work, and many others.
