The Gallery at Lakeland presents art exhibitions year round, including an annual Holiday Artists market to benefit the "Lakeland Community College Visual Arts Student Exhibition." Exhibitions support Lakeland's fine arts academic programs and employees, diversity efforts at the college, community arts groups, and local, regional and national artists.
The purpose of the fund is to benefit The Gallery at Lakeland's programming, and the annual Visual Arts Student Exhibition awards held each April.
During the Visual Arts Student Exhibition, The Gallery at Lakeland holds a month long exhibition to highlight visual works of art created by current Lakeland Community College visual art students and hosts an awards ceremony to recognize and reward students for their outstanding achievement. Donated and raised funds are used for student awards.
Please visit The Gallery at Lakeland for more information on programming, the gallery space, etc.
