Strong Interest Inventory (SII) - College Profile

The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) - College Profile is an assessment of interests that uses the theory of John Holland's personality types. The SII establishes a Holland Code, and then provides an in-depth, personalized report on the individual's overall pattern of interests. Based on these interests, college majors and occupations are rated as being similar or dissimilar in interest. The report is divided into four primary sections: general occupational themes, basic interest scales, occupational scales and personal style scales.

A counselor from the Career Development Center or Counseling Services must provide a student with a referral for this fee-based online assessment. A follow-up counseling session is required to interpret assessment results. Contact your referring Counselor to set up that appointment.
