JC SVA 5K
Join us on May 3rd for the JC SVA 5K, an event dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and supporting veterans and students in our community. It’s a movement to break the stigma surrounding mental health and highlight the importance of mental well-being.

Proceeds go to the JC SVA and support veteran/student focused events at JCCC
Hold Harmless (please read, you will be asked to acknowledge during registration)
I, the undersigned (“Participant”), for and in consideration of being allowed to participate in the above referenced program/activity (the “Activity”) and use the facilities provided by Johnson County Community College, hereby covenant and agree NOT TO SUE Johnson County Community College, and its trustees, officers, agents, servants and/or employees (collectively “JCCC”) because of any injuries suffered or personal property damaged while participating, preparing to participate or otherwise engaging in activities connected with the Activity. Participant further agrees to hold JCCC free and harmless from and to defend and indemnify JCCC for all damages, losses, liability and costs (including attorneys’ fees) that result from the negligence, gross and wanton conduct and/or willful conduct of Participant in connection with the Activity. Participant acknowledges the Activity inherently has risk associated with it that could cause significant injury to body and Participant specifically agrees to assume all such risks. It is further understood and agreed that JCCC does not insure the Participants against injury and does not accept responsibility for any medical costs incurred, personal property damages or other expenses incurred by Participant.
Participant grants JCCC the right to use Participant’s name, image, likeness, and any audio and video that may be recorded or created during the Activity for any and all commercial and non-commercial purposes, including but not limited to the purpose of promoting the college, its curriculum and programs. Participant agrees NOT TO SUE JCCC in relation to the recording, creation or use of such name or likeness.
