Golden Girls Jr Dance Day

Golden Girls - Jr Dance Day for ages Pre K to 8th grade

Date:  Saturday, February 07, 2026 from 12:30-2:00pm.  Check-in begins at 12:00pm.
Place:  Johnson County Community College Fieldhouse (located in the Lower Level of the GYM building)
Cost:  $35 per participant

DANCE DAY INCLUDES:
•    T-shirt (must be registered and received by Thursday, January 29th)
•    Group Stretch/Warm-up
•    1 short routine in age groups (for example: K-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6-8th) Grade divisions will depend on registration numbers.
•    Practice performance for Parents around 1:30pm.  
•    Performance by the Golden Girls
•    Free admittance to the Men’s and Women’s Basketball games at 2 & 4pm.  
•    Half-time performance with the JCCC Golden Girls at the Women’s Basketball Game at 2pm.

Dancers will remain in the Fieldhouse until their performance and will be released to their parents after the half-time performance.  Please pick-up dancers immediately following their performance downstairs in the Fieldhouse, so the Golden Girls can return to the game. 

NOTE:  Half-time will most likely be sometime around 2:45, but every game is different! 


As part of the registration process, you will be asked to acknowledge the below Hold Harmless Agreement.

I hereby register my child to participate in the JCCC Golden Girls Jr Dance Day to be held at Johnson County Community College.  I hereby release the college, it trustees, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for all injuries or damages suffered while participating, preparing to participate or otherwise engaged in activities connected with this program.  The undersigned agrees to assume all risks, and recognizes that despite the exercise of reasonable safety precautions by Johnson County Community College, injury is possible whenever one engages in physical activity.  If an emergency arises, I authorize emergency treatment or hospitalization when deemed necessary by college personnel.  I hereby authorize Johnson County Community College to show and reproduce the name, photograph or photographs, pictures and films of the student mentioned below for the purpose of promoting the college, its curriculum and programs.
