2026 Metro Kansas City Model United Nations Conference

Model UN is a complex simulation which can provide a rewarding educational experience for high school and middle school participants. By simulating the structure and operations of the United Nations, MKCMUN gives its participants the opportunity to experience the international milieu that diplomats experience themselves.

Delegation size will be four (4+) students. 4 students for each 4 committees, 1 additional student if on the Security Council. If you do not have a security council seat then only 4 students per delegation. If you have fewer than 4 students, you are still welcome. Request a country that is not seated on the security council. Conference is face to face and in person.

Cost is $50 per delegation or country assignment. Please change quantity to indicate number of delegations or countries requested.
Applications received on or before Monday January 19, 2026 will have first preferences on country choices. Applications are welcome until the Wednesday March 25, 2026.
